According to the Inrix design office, Belgian drivers lose at least 58 hours per year in traffic jams. Belgium is a country that suffers a lot from traffic density. According to the Brussels Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BECI), the cost of these traffic jams exceeds 500 million euros a year, just for the Capital.
In the European Union, traffic jams result in losses of 120 billion euros per year.
