The next edition of the Venice Biennale of Architecture will be held in June 2016. Among the pavilions already announced, the US one is already stirring people’s curiosity. On the “Architectural Imagination” theme, the US pavilion will present a number of reassignment projects for Detroit city, in economic ruin since it was whip-lashed by the crisis. The emphasis will be put on projects that focus on urban and environmental creativity.
The theme of the Belgian pavilion will be “The Crafts(wo)man and the city”. It will question the way designers and builders stimulate social cohesion in the European urban context today. We remind you that Atenor sponsored the Belgian pavilion in 2014.
